Football Recap: Happy Valley Warriors vs. South Greene Rebels
After flying high against Hancock County last Friday, Happy Valley came back down to earth. The Happy Valley Warriors took a 21-6 bruising from the South Greene Rebels on Friday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Warriors couldn't quite close it out.
With the loss, Happy Valley broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 4-1. As for South Greene, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 5-1.
Happy Valley wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 45-0 victory against Cumberland Gap on the 18th. South Greene has also already played their next matchup, a 28-20 win against Eagleton College & Career Academy on the 18th.
