Football Game Preview: Oxford Yellow Jackets vs. Florence Falcons + How To Watch

The Oxford Yellow Jackets will face off against the Florence Falcons at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Florence took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Oxford, who comes in off a win.

Oxford is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Huffman 55-6 on Friday. The Yellow Jackets haven't had any issues with the Vikings recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.

It was another big night for Jay'Lin Taylor, who picked up 143 receiving yards and three scores. He has become a key player for Oxford: the team is 4-2 when he posts at least 100 receiving yards, but 1-2 otherwise. Caleb Jenkins was another key player, throwing for 98 yards and three TDs.

Meanwhile, Florence unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of Sparkman by a score of 24-21.

Florence's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Oxford, they now also have a winning record of 5-4.
