Basketball Recap: Rockledge Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Rockledge, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They walked away with a 49-36 victory over the West Shore Wildcats on Tuesday. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats, too.

Rockledge can attribute much of their success to Conlan Oakley, who dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Dj Scott, who posted nine points.

Rockledge's win bumped their record up to 10-6. As for West Shore, they now have a losing record at 5-6.

The future could be bright for both Rockledge and West Shore: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Rockledge will try to hand Palm Bay their third-straight defeat when the two meet at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Similarly, West Shore will try to hand Satellite their third-straight loss when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
