Cherokee Trail had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Legacy Lightning on Saturday, sneaking past 1-0. The victory was nothing new for Cherokee Trail as they're now sitting on four straight.

Their one-goal win came courtesy of Derek Seymour, who's now up to six this season.

Cherokee Trail's win bumped their record up to 12-3-3. As for Legacy, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 14-1-3.

Coming up, Cherokee Trail will head out on the road to square off against Ralston Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
