Promise Prepatory Academy came into Thursday's matchup looking for another win against HALO, but Kenneth Haynes wouldn't allow it. The Wolfpack secured a 69-65 W over the Knights on Thursday for which the team can thank Haynes, who dropped a double-double with 27 points and 20 rebounds. He has been hot for a while, having posted nine or more boards the last 34 times he's played.

Mason Dukes was another key player, going 5-for-11 to rack up 14 points along with five rebounds and three steals. HALO is 2-1 when Dukes posts three or more steals, but 1-3 otherwise.

HALO's record now sits at 3-4. As for Promise Prepatory Academy, with the defeat, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 5-2.

HALO and Promise Prepatory Academy will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time the Wolfpack see the court they'll take on Peachtree Academy at 7:30 p.m. on December 2. As for Promise Prepatory Academy, their break will end when they face Genesis Academy at 6:15 p.m. on December 2.
