Volleyball Recap: Harvest-Westminster Beats Christian Life for Their Third Straight Victory

Harvest-Westminster hadn't done well against Christian Life recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Warrior-Lions walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Eagles. The win was familiar territory for the Warrior-Lions, who have now won three matches in a row.

Hannah Steffen paced Harvest-Westminster's offense, picking up six kills. Steffen got some help from Alexis Brokke and her seven assists. Finally, Steffen was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high five blocks.

Harvest-Westminster's victory bumped their record up to 15-11. As for Christian Life, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-12 record this season.

Coincidentally, Harvest-Westminster and Christian Life will both be playing Schaumburg Christian the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Conquerors at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Warrior-Lions will play them later in the day, at 11:00 a.m.
