Forge Christian won the last time they faced Jefferson Academy and things went their way on Thursday too. The Fury blew past the Jaguars 8-1. Considering the Fury have won nine matchups by more than six runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Jonathan Tipton, who went 3-for-4 with three stolen bases, four runs, and one RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Will Taylor, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and two RBI.

Forge Christian pushed their record up to 13-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Jefferson Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-14-1.

Looking ahead, Forge Christian will venture away from home to square off against Eaton at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
