Pennington faced Hunterdon Central in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Red Hawks blew past the Red Devils 5-1. Pennington might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by three goals or more this season.

Pennington's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 6-3. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one goal over those three contests. As for Hunterdon Central, with the loss, they broke their three-match winning streak and moved their record to 6-2-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Pennington will head out to take on Mercersburg Academy at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. This will be Pennington's first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Hunterdon Central, they will head out on the road to square off against Randolph at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
