Softball Recap: Ravenscroft Comes Up Short

Ravenscroft started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Giants Homeschool. They came up short against Giants Homeschool on Thursday, falling 12-5. The Ravens have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cole MacKinnon was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. That triple marked the first that she has hit this season. Another player making a difference was Macie Mackinnon, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases and two runs.

Ravenscroft's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Giants Homeschool, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Looking ahead, Ravenscroft will head out on the road to square off against GRACE Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Giants Homeschool, they will welcome Wake Prep Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Guardians will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each contest than the last.
