Volleyball Recap: Renaissance Academy Falls Short of Villa Joseph Marie in the Playoffs

Renaissance Academy and Villa Joseph Marie squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Renaissance Academy had to settle for second. They came up short against the Jems, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-7, 25-19, 25-3.

Peyton Romano paced Renaissance Academy's offense, picking up four kills. Romano got some help from Sophie Bersheim and her eight assists. Samantha Reynolds controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Renaissance Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Villa Joseph Marie, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-6.

Renaissance Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Villa Joseph Marie, they will challenge New Hope-Solebury at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
