Volleyball Recap: Mountain Vista Golden Eagles vs. Loveland Red Wolves
Mountain Vista faced Loveland in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Golden Eagles fell just short of the Red Wolves by a score of 3-2. The Golden Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Red Wolves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November of 2023.
Mountain Vista was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Loveland work for it, especially in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 23-25, 27-25, 25-20, 21-25, 15-11.
