Volleyball Game Preview: North Hagerstown Hubs vs. Reservoir 'Gators

The North Hagerstown Hubs will square off against the Reservoir 'Gators on Tuesday. North Hagerstown will come into the contest with an undefeated record on the line.

North Hagerstown is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. Everything went their way against Edgewood as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant North Hagerstown was: they took every set by at least 11 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-14, 25-12.

North Hagerstown's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Zalikah Pabalan led the charge by getting six digs and three aces. That's the most aces Pabalan has posted since back in October. The team also got some help courtesy of Lauren Ly, who had 17 assists.

They weren't the only good servers: North Hagerstown was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 13 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least six aces in six consecutive matchups.

Northern typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Reservoir proved too difficult a challenge. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Patriots.

North Hagerstown's record now sits at 18-0. As for Reservoir, their record is now 15-3.
