Basketball Recap: Walnut Takes a Loss

Walnut lost against San Marino back in November of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Mustangs fell 45-41 to the Titans. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Walnut's defeat dropped their record down to 6-4. As for San Marino, they pushed their record up to 7-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Coming up, Walnut and Los Osos will face off at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. The Mustangs will be up against the Grizzlies' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for San Marino, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Ayala at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
