Football Recap: Lakeland Dreadnaughts vs. The First Academy Royals

Lakeland fought the good fight in their overtime game against The First Academy on Friday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 35-28 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Royals. The defensive woes were uncharacteristic for the Dreadnaughts, who until this contest were averaging 10.7 points allowed.

Kelin Hendrix threw for 67 yards and a pair of touchdowns. Cameron Fuse was his top target, picking up 46 receiving yards and one TD. On the ground, Ja'Darious Dobie rushed for 64 yards.
