Basketball Game Preview: Fairfield Knights vs. Littlestown Thunderbolts

Fairfield hasn't had much luck against Littlestown recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Knights are headed away from home for the first time to challenge the Thunderbolts at 7:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Fairfield lost 62-39 to Shalom Christian Academy on Thursday.

Meanwhile, while it was all tied up 19-19 at halftime, Littlestown was not quite East Juniata's equal in the second half on Friday. They fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 36-33.

Fairfield's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Littlestown, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Fairfield ended up a good deal behind Littlestown in their previous meeting back in January, losing 47-33. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
