Baseball Recap: Olmsted Falls Comes Up Short

The Olmsted Falls Bulldogs came up short against the Rocky River Pirates on Wednesday, falling 13-2.

Olmsted Falls saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cam Pesch, who went 1-for-3 with one RBI. That RBI was Pesch's first of the season.

Olmsted Falls' loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Rocky River, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olmsted Falls will face off against Elyria Catholic at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rocky River, they will take on Valley Forge at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
