Volleyball Recap: Flowery Branch Comes Up Short

Flowery Branch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the North Oconee Titans. The Falcons were not able to make up for their defeat to the Titans from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-14.

Sutton Szoke was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 13 digs and three assists. That's the most digs she has posted since back in October of 2024. Mia Charles also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Flowery Branch's loss dropped their record down to 15-20. As for North Oconee, they are on a roll lately: they've won 22 of their last 24 matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 31-8 record this season.

Flowery Branch will face off against West Hall at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Oconee, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Jefferson on the 1st.
