The Rebels came up short against the Providence Christian Eagles on Monday, falling 7-0. The loss continues a trend for Long in their meetings with Providence Christian: they've now lost eight in a row.

Long's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11-1. As for Providence Christian, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-6.

Long wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next match, a 5-0 loss against Houston Academy on the 21st. Providence Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
