Football Recap: Thursday's Loss Ends Dibble's Winning Streak + How To Watch

If Dibble was riding high fresh off their 55-0 takedown of Comanche last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Demons took a hard 22-7 fall against the Holdenville Wolverines on Thursday. The matchup marked the Demons' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Tucker Skipper threw for 40 yards and one touchdown. On the ground, Wyatt Malchaski rushed for 49 yards.

Holdenville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Abe Gomez, who rushed for 114 yards and a pair of scores, and also threw for 60 yards and one TD. What's more, Gomez racked up 135.4 passer rating, the most he's had since back in October of 2024. Another rusher making a difference was Memphis Thionnet, who rushed for 91 yards and one touchdown on only nine carries.
