Softball Recap: Lakeside Comes Up Short

After flying high against Loreauville on Friday, Lakeside came back down to earth. The Warriors fell just short of the St. Charles Catholic Comets by a score of 7-6 on Saturday.

Lakeside has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-7 record this season. As for St. Charles Catholic, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season.

Lakeside has already played their next contest, an 8-0 win against DeQuincy on the 21st. As for St. Charles Catholic, they will be playing at home against Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Comets their first taste of in-conference action this season.
