Softball Recap: Stonewall Jackson Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Stonewall Jackson's offense. They came up short against the Riverheads Gladiators on Monday, falling 6-0. The Generals have struggled against the Gladiators recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Stonewall Jackson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Maggie Miller, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Stonewall Jackson now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Riverheads, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stonewall Jackson will host Luray at 6:00 p.m. on April 7. As for Riverheads, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Buffalo Gap at 5:00 p.m.
