Seligman skates past Ash Fork with ease

Recap: Seligman Antelopes vs. Ash Fork Spartans

The Seligman Antelopes scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They breezed by Ash Fork at home to the tune of 81-32. The victory was just what Seligman needed coming off of a 65-43 defeat in their prior game.

Seligman was led to victory by Carmelo Manakaja and Montae Walker. Manakaja dropped a double-double on 26 points and 11 rebounds, while Walker scored 36 points along with nine steals and seven rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Walker has scored at least a third of Seligman's points. Another player making a difference was Leathan Beecher, who scored six points along with five rebounds and three steals.

Josue Tellez and Nathan Keele certainly did their best on Tuesday to try and avoid the loss. Tellez scored 17 points along with six rebounds, while Keele scored seven points.

Ash Fork struggled to work together and finished the game with only an assist. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Seligman racked up 16 assists.

Seligman's win bumped their record up to 11-12. As for Ash Fork, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 11-12.

Seligman will take on Grand Canyon at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Grand Canyon is still on the hunt for that elusive first 'W'. As for Ash Fork, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fredonia at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
