Softball Recap: Milaca Comes Up Short

Milaca was the 11-4 winner over Foley when they last played one another back in May of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves fell just short of the Falcons by a score of 5-4 on Thursday.

Izzy Roehl was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Ashley Droogsma was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two RBI.

Milaca's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Coming up, Milaca will face off against Pierz at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Foley, they will challenge Nevis at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
