Soquel entered their tilt with King's Academy on Tuesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past King's Academy 3-0.

Soquel's got stronger as the match went on, holding King's Academy to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-23, 25-17.

Katy Eze paced Soquel's offense, picking up 16 kills. Eze got some help from Mia Riddle and her 34 assists. Eze also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Victoria Breshear, racking up two apiece.

King's Academy's loss came despite strong showings from Michaela Wu and Shuwen Jin. Wu had 22 assists and seven digs, while Jin had 17 digs.

The win got Soquel back to even at 5-5. As for King's Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 5-4.

Coming up, Soquel will square off against Mt. Madonna at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Knights are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for King's Academy, they have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against More on the 17th.
