Basketball Game Preview: Minuteman Regional Minuteman vs. Saugus Sachems

The Minuteman Regional Minuteman and the Saugus Sachems will compete for holiday cheer at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Thursday, it was close, but Minuteman Regional sidestepped Academy of Notre Dame for a 97-95 victory.

Meanwhile, Saugus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 76-72 heartbreaker at the hands of Marblehead.
