Volleyball Recap: Swansea Takes a Loss

Swansea was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Bamberg-Ehrhardt Red Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Red Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 on Thursday.

Swansea may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored 13 points in every single set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-13.

Swansea's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Bamberg-Ehrhardt, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-1.

Coming up, Swansea will welcome Newberry at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Bamberg-Ehrhardt, they will square off against Lowcountry Leadership at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday.
