Football Recap: Standley Lake Skates Past Littleton with Ease + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lutheran, Standley Lake was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They blew past the Littleton Lions 56-0. The win continues a trend for the Gators in their matchups with the Lions: they've now won three in a row.

This one was won in the trenches and the lion's share of the credit has to go to Jaden Epps and Achillez Zepeda. Epps rushed for 139 yards and two scores on only six carries while Zepeda rushed for 114 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. Evan Seiffert made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Standley Lake was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 323 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in September of 2024.

Standley Lake didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. It was truly a group effort as Epps, Seiffert, and Giovanni Aiello picked up one apiece. Seiffert got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Standley Lake's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Littleton, they are on a six-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Standley Lake will square off against Hinkley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Gators will be up against the Thunder's rather soft defense (which has allowed 67.57 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Littleton, they will face off against Kennedy at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
