Lafayette Christian Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Tuesday. They put the hurt on the Iowa Yellowjackets with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Knights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Lafayette Christian Academy's got stronger as the match went on, holding Iowa to fewer and fewer points set over set. The final score came out to 25-23, 25-20, 25-14.

Grace Alexander paced Lafayette Christian Academy's offense, picking up ten kills. AlexAnder got some help from Dimi Batiste and her ten assists. Gracie MalaGarie and Finley Landry kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with five aces apiece.

Lafayette Christian Academy is packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Lake Charles College Prep at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Iowa, they will square off against Sam Houston at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
