Volleyball Recap: Willow Glen Comes Up Short

Willow Glen suffered their biggest loss since September 30th on Tuesday. They came up short against the Pioneer Mustangs, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Rams in their meetings with the Mustangs: they've now lost six in a row.

While Willow Glen ultimately came up short, they didn't go down without a fight: they scored at least 17 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-19, 25-17.

Willow Glen's loss dropped their record down to 12-10. As for Pioneer, they have been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-10 record this season.

Willow Glen wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 defeat against Gunderson on the 16th. As for Pioneer, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Yerba Buena on the 16th.
