Football Game Preview: Wyandanch Warriors vs. Comsewogue Warriors + How To Watch

Wyandanch will face off against Comsewogue at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Wyandanch is looking for their season's first win.

Wyandanch's offense might be in the hot seat on Saturday considering what happened against Eastport-South Manor on Saturday. They had to suffer through a 41-0 loss at the hands of the Sharks. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Warriors were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Comsewogue ended up a good deal behind Islip on Saturday and lost 42-23. The Warriors have struggled against the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Loss or not, Comsewogue got some senior leadership from Connor Rocchio and Nicholas Saladino. Rocchio picked up 130 receiving yards and one TD, while Saladino threw for 166 yards and one touchdown.

Wyandanch's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Comsewogue, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Wyandanch took a serious blow against Comsewogue when the teams last played back in October of 2022, falling 56-0. Can Wyandanch avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
