Baseball Game Preview: Tahlequah Tigers vs. Oologah Mustangs

The Tahlequah Tigers will head out on the road to take on the Oologah Mustangs at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses apiece.

Fans were treated to a battle of the Tigers on Tuesday. Tahlequah fell just short of Pryor by a score of 5-4.

Oologah had taken Grove down for two straight games at home, but that winning streak came to an end on Tuesday. The Mustangs came up short against the Ridgerunners, falling 12-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Mustangs have suffered against the Ridgerunners since April 8, 2019.

Oologah saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaden Fisher, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Tahlequah's loss dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Oologah, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-9.

Everything went Tahlequah's way against Oologah in their previous matchup back in March of 2018, as Tahlequah made off with a 10-1 win. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Mustangs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
