Volleyball Game Preview: St. Joseph Bears vs. Portage Northern Huskies + Official Tickets

St. Joseph is 1-9 against Portage Northern since September of 2020 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. The Bears will be playing in front of their home fans against the Huskies at 7:00 p.m. St. Joseph will be looking to extend their current ten-game winning streak.

St. Joseph barely beat Norrix the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Bears were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Knights on Monday. The Bears not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since October 13th (when they won 3-0).

Meanwhile, Portage Northern suffered their biggest defeat since October 8th on Wednesday. They came up short against Mendon, falling 3-0. The Huskies haven't had much luck with the Hornets recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Portage Northern now has a losing record of 23-24-1. As for St. Joseph, their victory bumped their record up to 17-12.

St. Joseph might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Portage Northern when the teams last played back in September. Can the Bears avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
