Basketball Game Preview: Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats vs. Altamont Indians

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City hasn't had much luck against Altamont recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City Bobcats will take on the Altamont Indians at 7:30 p.m. Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.

Last Tuesday, Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City lost to Mulberry Grove at home by a 64-46 margin. The Bobcats were down 46-24 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Altamont posted their closest victory since January 5, 2024 on Tuesday. They skirted past Flora 48-46. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Indians.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City better keep an eye on Kade Milleville. He was instrumental in Altamont's win, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. Milleville has been hot recently, having posted nine or more boards the last three times he's played. Benjamin Roedl was another key player, putting up ten points and six rebounds.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City's defeat dropped their record down to 4-14. As for Altamont, their win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 12-10.

Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City was taken down by Altamont 66-39 when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Cowden-Herrick/Beecher City avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
