Volleyball Recap: Cody Falls Short of Lovell in the Playoffs

Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Cody couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Lovell Bulldogs by a score of 3-2 on Saturday. The Broncs' defeat signaled the end of their 12-game winning streak.

Ellie Talich paced Cody's offense, picking up 20 kills. Talich got some help from Maddie Beaudrie and her 56 assists. Allison Gee and Grace Hays kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with three aces apiece.

Cody's loss dropped their record down to 35-3. As for Lovell, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-5-1.

As of now, neither Cody nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
