Softball Recap: Magnolia Takes a Loss

Magnolia fell victim to Santa Ana and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They lost 16-0 to the Santa Ana Saints. The Sentinels' loss continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Magnolia's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Santa Ana, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-1-1 record this season.

Magnolia will take on Los Amigos at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. Los Amigos' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so Magnolia's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Santa Ana, they will square off against Estancia at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Santa Ana knows how to get runs on the board -- the squad has finished with ten runs or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Estancia likes a good challenge.
