Basketball Recap: Juab Takes a Loss

Juab was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 71-63 to the North Summit Braves. The Wasps were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Braves apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2024.

Tayton Pace was his usual excellent self, shooting 53% from the field to rack up 34 points for North Summit. Those 34 points gave Pace a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Kestin Richins, who posted 14 points and five boards.

Juab's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for North Summit, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Juab has already played their next matchup (against Grantsville), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for North Summit, they will square off against Enterprise at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
