Volleyball Game Preview: Blair Vikings vs. South Pasadena Tigers

Blair is 0-10 against South Pasadena since October of 2017 but things could change on Tuesday. The Vikings will take on the Tigers at 5:30 p.m.

Blair came up short against La Canada on Thursday, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-10, 25-11, 25-1.

Meanwhile, South Pasadena waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They came out on top against the Titans by a score of 3-1.

South Pasadena was especially dominant in the fourth set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 25-17, 25-27, 25-13.

Blair better focus on containing Kayla Yau and Ella Garner as the pair were huge in South Pasadena's win. Yau had 29 assists and nine digs, while Garner had 20 digs and four assists. Those 29 assists gave Yau a new career-high.

South Pasadena's win bumped their record up to 17-9. As for Blair, their loss dropped their record down to 1-7.

Blair might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from South Pasadena when the teams last played on September 11th. Can the Vikings avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
