Softball Recap: Cabrini Comes Up Short

After soaring to 16 runs the game before, Cabrini was a bit more limited in their game on Tuesday. They came up short against the Shrine Catholic Knights, falling 10-2. The defeat leaves the Monarchs still looking for their first win of the season.

Jodi Browning was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 1-for-2. That hit was her first of the season.

Cabrini's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Shrine Catholic, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

While Cabrini had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair will be back at it again later today.
