Cedar Park Christian beats Morton/White Pass for their second straight win

On Saturday, The Cedar Park Christian Eagles got themselves on the board against the Morton/White Pass Timberwolves, but the Morton/White Pass Timberwolves never followed suit. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Timberwolves 39-0 on the road. The match was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Cedar Park Christian had established a 32 point advantage.

Lyal Viers was the offensive standout of the match as he rushed for 122 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries. Another player making a difference was Andy Penrod, who threw for 156 yards and two touchdowns.

The victory makes it two in a row for Cedar Park Christian and bumps their season record up to 5-3. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 31.0 points per game. As for Morton/White Pass, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Cedar Park Christian will head out on the road to face off against King's at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. King's will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Morton/White Pass will take on Raymond-South Bend at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
