Volleyball Game Preview: Houghton Academy Panthers vs. Bolivar-Richburg Wolverines

Houghton Academy hasn't had much luck against Bolivar-Richburg recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Panthers will square off against the Wolverines at 6:00 p.m. The two teams are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

It was a proper cat-fight when Houghton Academy faced off against Hinsdale Central on Tuesday. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Bobcats. The Panthers haven't had any issues with the Bobcats recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, Bolivar-Richburg made easy work of Wellsville on Tuesday and carried off a 3-0 victory.

Bolivar-Richburg's win bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Houghton Academy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-4.

Houghton Academy might still be hurting after the 3-0 loss they got from Bolivar-Richburg in their previous matchup on October 1st. Can the Panthers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
