Softball Recap: Lee County Wins Going Away Against Columbus

Lee County lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Columbus, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Saturday's matchup. The Trojans blew past the Blue Devils 10-2 on Saturday. Considering the Trojans have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory snapped Lee County's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 15-10-1 record. As for Columbus, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

Coincidentally, Lee County and Columbus will both be playing Marion County the next time they take the field. The Trojans will host the Eagles at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, while the Blue Devils will play them later in the day, at 12:00 p.m.
