Soccer Recap: Pine Starts Season with Win at Home

Pine gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Thursday. They never let the Immaculata-La Salle Royal Lions get on the board and left with a 3-0 victory. The score was close at halftime, but Pine pulled away in the second half with two goals.

Riley Loch and Benjamin Blanco scored all three of Pine's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Immaculata-La Salle now has a losing record of 0-1-1.

Pine has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against King's Academy on the 11th. As for Immaculata-La Salle, they will challenge St. John Paul II Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
