Softball Game Preview: Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats vs. Schulenburg Shorthorns

Bloomington is on a 17-game streak of home losses dating back to last season, and Schulenburg an eight-game streak of away losses. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Tuesday. The Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats will be playing at home against the Schulenburg Shorthorns at 6:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Bloomington is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They lost 18-8 to Louise on Friday.

Bloomington saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Mayte Reyes, who scored a run while going 1-for-3. Regina Espinoza also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Meanwhile, Schulenburg came up short against Flatonia on Friday, falling 16-6.

Summer Livingston made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Schulenburg's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19-1. As for Bloomington, their loss dropped their record down to 0-17.
