Baseball Game Preview: Riverbend Bears vs. Mountain View Wildcats + How To Watch

The Riverbend Bears will venture away from home to face off against the Mountain View Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Riverbend made easy work of Massaponax and carried off a 16-4 win. The victory continues a trend for the Bears in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won seven in a row.

Meanwhile, Mountain View hadn't done well against Charles J. Colgan recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Wildcats' pitchers stepped up to hand the Sharks a 3-0 shutout.

Riverbend's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Mountain View, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Riverbend was able to grind out a solid win over Mountain View in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, winning 9-5. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bears since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
