Soccer Game Preview: Rainier vs. Tillamook

The Rainier Columbians are taking a road trip to square off against the Tillamook Cheesemakers on Wednesday. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Rainier is looking to tack another W on to their season record, something they couldn't quite do against St. Helens on Thursday. The two teams finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw.

Meanwhile, Tillamook has been on a difficult stretch since their win on September 2. They came up short against Scappoose on Thursday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Tillamook can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon soccer rankings (they are ranked 94th, while Scappoose are ranked eighth).

Tillamook's loss dropped their record down to 1-4-2. Rainier's draw makes their record 3-2-1 this season.
