Volleyball Game Preview: Edison Red Raiders vs. JC Bermudez Doral Thunder

The Edison Red Raiders will challenge the JC Bermudez Doral Thunder at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Edison came up short against North Miami on Monday, falling 3-0. The Red Raiders haven't had much luck with the Pioneers recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

While Edison was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into North Miami's winning margin in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15, 25-16.

Meanwhile, JC Bermudez Doral didn't have quite enough to beat Reagan on Friday and fell 3-2.

JC Bermudez Doral took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The final score came out to 25-17, 21-25, 22-25, 25-16, 17-15.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for JC Bermudez Doral, they now have a losing record of 6-7.
