Basketball Recap: Madison Plains Comes Up Short

Madison Plains lost against KIPP Columbus back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Madison Plains Golden Eagles fell just short of the KIPP Columbus Jaguars by a score of 50-47.

Madison Plains has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-12 record this season. As for KIPP Columbus, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-5.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Madison Plains won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Mechanicsburg at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for KIPP Columbus, they will take on Patriot Prep Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Patriot Prep Academy is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 60.5 points per game this season.
