McDonell Central is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They took their matchup with ease, bagging a 64-30 victory over Lena/Aquinas. The result was nothing new for the Macks, who have now won 11 games by 34 points or more so far this season.

Meanwhile, Gilman faced Oakfield in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Pirates strolled past the Oaks with points to spare, taking the game 30-12. The 30-point effort marked the Pirates' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

McDonell Central's win bumped their record up to 11-1. As for Gilman, their victory bumped their record up to 12-0.

McDonell Central suffered a grim 38-12 defeat to Gilman in their previous matchup back in September. Can the Macks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
