Basketball Recap: Central Comes Up Short

Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Kearsley Hornets 87-58. The Wolves were down 66-45 at the end of the third quarter, and things only got worse from there.

Despite the loss, Central still got an impressive performance from Terrill Campbell, who went 10-for-22 to rack up 30 points. The dominant performance gave Campbell a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Brylon Narvaiz, who posted 11 points.

Central's loss dropped their record down to 2-15. As for Kearsley, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.

Central has already played their next contest, a 71-31 defeat against Lapeer on the 11th. As for Kearsley, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 73-54 win against Linden on the 14th.
