Volleyball Recap: Parkway South's Losing Streak Snapped at Three Games

Parkway South had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Clayton Greyhounds by a score of 3-1 on Friday. That's more bragging rights for the Patriots, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Parkway South walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the second set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-14, 23-25, 25-16.

Sam Visintine paced Parkway South's offense, picking up 12 kills. Visintine got some help from Sameer Power and his 20 assists. Jacob Sidwell and Jack McClanahan kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Parkway South's record now sits at 17-11. As for Clayton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last ten matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-10-1 record this season.

Parkway South is taking a road trip to take on St. Pius X at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Clayton, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Gateway Tech at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
